4 Winning Tips to Keep in Mind when Negotiating

Don’t get too Emotional
Be passionate about your product or service, but by becoming too emotionally attached to it, will result in a loss of focus, and could compromise your reasoning.

Be Adaptable
You might go in with a set game-plan, but be accommodating of their views. Remember it’s a negotiation, not an ultimatum. You are trying to find a result which works well for everyone.

Be Willing to Walk Away
Objectivity is the main ingredient. Make sure you don’t need this deal more than anything in the world. Disengage yourself emotionally, and if things don’t work out the way you had hoped, walk away.

Don’t just Listen, but Hear
Listen to your clients, and understand their ideas and objections. Encourage their feedback, so everybody feels they are achieving their ultimate outcome.
